A Big Family

I am the fourth of six children. Yes, i have 5 siblings, 3 older and 2 younger siblings. 3 boys and 3 girls, and with both of my parents, that is clearly a big family. My dad is from Jakarta while my mom is from Trenggalek, Jawa Timur. My dad used to work at PT. Freeport Indonesia, since 1990 and retired at the age of 53 on 2017. Because of that, we used to live in Tembagapura, Papua, a very beautiful city hidden by the forests and mountains of Jayawijaya. My siblings and i used to go to school at YPJ Tembagapura which is a school built by the company to support the families that live there. We really enjoy being in an environment where everyone was very kind to another, respect given everywhere, and child-friendly city with lots of facilities to use. But because there is no highschool there, we had to move to Jakarta to continue our study, and by coincidence, my dad got involved in an underground accident and as the Head Division of Safety, Health, and Environment, he was the one whose being blamed for the accident so then eventually all of us moved to Jakarta. We live in a house that was bought by my father from his father and so we basically live in my grandparents house for such a looong time. I still am grateful for the fact that i was able to live and grow up in Papua, by a supporting parents and siblings, and so here i am continuing my study at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya.

Nowadays, 2 of my older siblings already got married and one of them already had 2 children, a boy and a girl and because we live practically not that far away from each other, our family just got bigger and bigger, and that's something that not everyone can imagine what it feels like. The third child, my older brother will be married this year hopefully and that'll give us another member to the family. I am still continuing my study and hopefully i can finish it soon and get work with decent money because i want to help my 2 younger sisters with their education as my gratitude to my parents for supporting me through this life.

And so, life continues....
